Your timeline has been reset to the date that USCIS has received the RFE. The usual process is EAD and then interview but some people have gotten the interview and no EAD. It has been less than 2 months for you which means you aren't even in the EAD processing window. I doubt that you will get anything soon but if you do, great! Did you do your biometrics?

My PD is 6/5, biometrics 6/28, SR 9/2, Interview notice 10/10, EAD and AP approval letter 10/16, EAD and AP combo card in hand 10/17. So as you see, the process can take 4 months or even longer. Patience.

I’m working on ours. Lol, i already have everything that i needed, the thing is, im having hard time to think about what to put in our explanation letter. And my spouse told me that if they we’re asking to send just the page four (4) of our i-864 then i should send only that page because if i will do fill up the whole 12 forms they might get confuse. He told me that he will just sign page 4 at the back since thats all they needed and focus on the tax documentation (retirement, Ssa benefits) and proof of income that we will replace from his tax return since he’s not required to file because he’s already retired. I need to get my self together. My brain is everywhere right now!

Here is my timeline to help you out. It does not appear that my case "reset" to the date that my RFE response was received.

August 7th 2017 - I-130, I-485 and I-765 sent to USCIS (Chicago Lockbox)
August 8th 2017 - Delivery via Fedex
August 14th 2017 - E-notification of receipt of all applications, checks cashed
August 21st 2017 - Mail receipt received for all applications (PD of Aug 8th 2017)
August 25th 2017 - Biometrics appointment notice received in mail
September 5th 2017 - Biometrics completed
September 9th 2017 - Request for Initial Evidence received in mail (regarding form I-864 as part of I-485)
October 4th 2017 - RFIE documents sent (Lee Summit, MO)
October 5th 2017 - Delivered via Fedex
October 6th 2017 - RFIE "received" and under review by USCIS (although this wasn't update online until Oct 18th)
October 18th 2017 - Case ready to be scheduled for an interview (although this wasn't updated online until Oct 20th)
October 23rd 2017 - Put a service request in over the phone for my 765/EAD application (77th day from original PD)
November 1st 2017 - New EAD card in production
November 2nd 2017 - Interview scheduled for December 12th 2017

Yeah. But we need a written explanation of my spouse explaining that he don’t do tax returns cause he’s already retired. We don’t have tax transcripts to send and replace it with ssa benefits instead thats why.

They might but I doubt it will happen this soon. I waited 4 months but I have seen people get it earlier. PD is priority date and the RFE resets the PD date to the date USCIS received your response to the RFE.

I don't seem to have a priority date. I'm looking at al my I797 forms but can't seem to see it where would I find this?

Today i went to the post office to send my RFE back to lee’s summit Mo. and the lady told us that it’ll be there tomorrow, saturday by noon. I hope someone will accept it on saturday. Lol.

I believe it'll get there but when they open it is another matter. Took them 5 days to open ours despite sending priority.

But since my spouse is already retired and not required to submit or file a tax return we submit he’s income which is not over $25k a year. he’s receiving Social Security Benefits, we also had his assets (2 homes and 2 automobile), the old house is a duplex which is being rented and the other house is for Air BnB, we submitted 3 years of his SSA BENEFITS, transaction of payment for Air BnB and the lease agreement for the rental. And we have to send the page four of form I-864, i made two copies 1 PDF and 1 Acrobat reader both signed by the petitioner at the back of the pages, also an explanation letter about not submitting tax returns and submitted a online bank statement higlighted the deposits of air Bnb and SSA Benefits. I hope it’ll be clear to them and the evidence are enough.

Ours was about income also as they only take the previous years tax return as proof really she was a student and earned around 12k. But she has started a new job 2 months ago on 40k a year so assume a job offer letter would suffice but apparently not so we just got a joint sponsor instead. So hoping to hear back soon! I need to work I'm bored!

Oh man! Belive me it’s stressful for real! Been unemployed for a yea now and im really bored! Just hoping that what we sent is enough and process will be smooth this time. Let’s keep our faith up high and think positive!

Fingers Crossed for you! I'm hoping ours moves quickly! We've sent a letter to our Senator to get an EAD approved quicker as I have two job offers waiting for me to start!

Cool! Same here! I got an mail from the senator asking to get my personal information. Be waiting for Uscis when they receive my rfe and ill send my mail back to the senator
