What did you do on day 42? How did you expedite?

I call uscis, told the io if she can expedite my i-765 because i haven’t been working for a year and i need to have a job. Day 43 my request was completed, day 44 status change into RFE, after that i havent heard or see any changes about my request to expedite until today day 70 they produced my card. I did’nt receive any mail or email or any term of response about my request to expedite.

That is probably the reason for such quick approval. Somehow you got a expedite that wasn't quite as fast but still ended up helping you.

The RFE/RFIE resetting the clock is always hot debated topic. In my opinion from what I have read it will only reset the clock if the RFIE is because of your EAD/AP. So if you get asked for financial information it doesn't have anything to do with your EAD/AP it wont reset anything.

I agree! Thats whats actually i am thinking. I thought its a big mistake to ask to expedite my i-765 but i guess it’s really a big help to have an early approval.

Its the standard number. I have read some cases where the working IO will take this plea of desperation because of finances or money problems as enough to expedite but its very rare. You friend should contact congressman

Technically it doesn't count because you can get EAD expedited a day after BIO if you have a job offer. It was expedited because he got lucky because no job offer was required.

Thank you so much! I’m just so happy i did a service request, one of my friends who’s a JUNE filer just messaged me that she never make/made a service request and on the 10’th of november, after 5 months of her Pd she received a RFE, until now she’s waiting for the hard copy, i feel so sad for her but im really glad that i did something and the officer just decided that he need to look at my application.

I dont think mustang ment it didnt count , whos first or last..thatd be silly...in the whole process it doesn't matter...its all very subjective and every case is different...but im sure, when u "expedite" something, u rushed it..so Yeah, makes sense, if you got it sooner...enjoy the feeling!!! Im not rushing for EAD..i just want my GREEN CARD!!!��

It doesent matter how you get it but most other people here will have to wait at least 2-3 weeks before hearing good news

Yes on my 75 day today so I think might see a wave of approvals from next week. 500 cases before me out of 100 EAD applications about 30 have already changed to new card in production with the same PD (09/05)

Yes I love the UCSIC App where you can get all case information around your receiot numbers.
Question Mustang, My i485 still says fingerprint fee received while 90% before and after my number say case rewdy to be scheduked for interview. Cause for concern or likely a case officier that isn't keeping my info up to date?
