Its a NOTICE TO THE APPLICANT, informing me , that i didnt include my medical form ( which im of course aware of, i intentionally didnt) and telling me basically not to do anything at this time, just wait if they invite me for an interview (which i NOW know thx to MUSTANG, that they will, as I arrived on J 1 visa) to bring it there or in no interview, they will send me a request for evidence. Thanks to this forum i knew , they sent this letter to ppl, that didnt include the medical, its just a standard step, im happy no REF came (assuming theyd send it together). Grateful i know ahead about things thanks to this amazing outlet!! Thats all for now.
    I got the same thing. I'm wondering, does your online case status also say "On XX, we mailed a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCZZZ. The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the request for evidence. If you do not receive your request for evidence by ZZZ, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address." ?

      Its normal and does not stop your case . Some get the message some dont either way if the RFE was only for medical the case will move forward.

        No, my status online says "fingerprint fee received", i dont think what i got is RFE, its a notice to applicant, im not being requested to send any additional evidence yet. It all depends, if an interview will be scheduled. This letter tells me, im supposed to bring this form to my interview. Sounds as if they sent you RFE and are waiting for u to respond, with me the letter says do NOT send any forms now. So im waiting for them.

          Here the source for the interview requirements/waiver

          1. Waiver Criteria
          USCIS has the ability to waive an interview. [2] Adjustment of status interviews are generally waived for applicants in the following classifications:
          •Applicants clearly ineligible;
          •Unmarried children of U.S. citizens, if not filed as part of a family pack;
          •Parents of U.S. citizens;
          •Fiancé(e)s of U.S. citizens who married within 90 days, and their children;
          •Asylee and refugee cases in which the applicant has previously been interviewed by an asylum or refugee officer; [3] and
          •Unmarried children (under age 14) of lawful permanent residents.

          https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/H...-Chapter5.html
          Thank you, I appreciate your input! I am a parent of US citizen, but I dont think , that applies to what they mean. They are talking about children applying for parents, i think? Okay, just saw, the child/ren would have to be 21 and older, which isnt my case.

                  May i ask when’s your Priority date? Cause mine’s been 12 days since i had my biometrics done. Today, I received a confirmation letter that they grant/accepted my request for change of address. Rather than that, there’s nothing else. So i assume that i dont have Rfe. Also we just put 1 latest tax return of my spouse and added some of the assests like house, car etc. i know that as long as you pass the 125% poverty you’re good. And also its depends on how many you have to count together with your households. Maybe you need to ask an attorney cause seriously, until now im still confuse and not that sure when it comes to the affidavit of support. Its really complicated. Good luck just keep calm and try to do some research in uscis website or even google can help too.

                      The U.S citizen spouse will always be the primary sponsor and if you wanted someone that is a U.s citizen regardless if he/she is related to you as long as they have enough income per year, they are considered to be the “Joint Sponsor”

                            Oh, im sorry, but please tell your spouse that we can’t do anything about it right now, but to be brave and face the fact that our biggest enemy here is ourselves. Please tell him/her that everythings going to be alright. Tell him/her to Pray. It’s just an easy thing. Do some research and try to understand every detail and you’ll be okay at the end. We all need to be a fighter here. smile smile. think positive and everything will follow. Don’t let stress eat your system. We all can make it.
