    Two pieces of unsolicited advice:
    - Please start collecting evidence for your I-751 Removal of conditions. Instructions state "Submit copies of as many documents as you can to demonstrate the circumstances of the relationship from the date of the marriage to the present date".
    - Do not delay applying for naturalization at the 3 year minus 90 days mark. It will speed up processing of your I-751.

    Best of luck!
Thank you...and yes we did celebrate...a lot actually lol....I'm not quite sure if I want to become a citizen yet but what are the "submitting of copies" you are talking about? I thought that in 2 years (minus 90 days) I'll just apply for removal of conditions....where and what do I need to be submitting? Or is that just something I sent with the I-751 when the times come?

Yes, at the 2 year minus 90 day mark, you will file for removal of conditions. I was just quoting what the instructions state. They want to see as many documents as you may have from the date of marriage to the time when you file the I-751. They don't want to see gaps. They want all bank statements, all credit card statements, all of everything. That's a sure way of getting the I-751 interview waived.
You want to check if each one of the accounts you have makes online statements available for the past 24 months. Why? That way, you won't have any gaps. You do want to check now and not wait until it's time to file; only to realize that you only have access to 1 year worth of statements. Again, just unsolicited advice. A I-751 package that secures an interview waiver, takes a long time to put together. That's all.

Its weird because before it said 7 and a half now its 8 to 14.
I got an info pass tomorrow to see where I am at.
Are u still waiting? My status on I 485 changed from ?ready to b scheduled fpr an interview? to ?case status? - no status avail.. no interview yet! 9 months waiting. Since I received my EAD last oct, i heard nothing from USCIS...

I have a question for you.
The only thing that my husband and I can show jointly together from the time we got married is a gas bill. We married in June 2017 and filed for AOS in Feb 2018. We tried the bank account but they wanted two piece of picture identification for me. I only have my passport. We decided that we will just wait for the EAD and do everything else as it gets stressful to deal with.
But I will go and add him to my bank account with PNC next week instead as we just found out that they are not as strict as his bank. My account has no cash activity as I?m not working due to lack of EAD that?s why I wanted to be added onto his.
And also my husband is bad at managing money so it is ok if I open a separate account on my own and keep the joint account to show activity for him and I. We wanted to keep our finances as separate as possible as I have a son and he has children but use joint account for just bill payments. Will just be ok for immigration?

            • My I-485 case status still says Finger print fee received September 2017. Had my biometrics done in October 2017. Has not updated at all. Its 8 months since I filed, received my Advance Parole and EAD in November. Now i am getting worried because I sent my medical in with my applications and if they dont change my status soon I will have to pay another $300 to get another medical AND re-new my AP and EAD.
Other filers from September have already had interviews or at least had case status changed to sceduled. If i have been sent an RFE I dont know because my status hasnt updated!!

Yes I think we have to pay for a renewal and you have to apply to renew up to 120 days before it expires along with AP. At least your status changed, mine hasnt moved!

Hi everyone, can someone enlighten me on the colors of the hard copies of RFE's.
I got a yellow one last year in October and a pick one in May. Do they really mean anything?

                      • Update

Just got an email. CASE READY TO BE SCHEDULED.
                        Things are moving and happening.
Tucson is pretty fast to schedule so it shouldn't be to long.
                        Ill report

                        • submitted late 9/2017 and biometrics received 10/3/2017.

                          Nothing since...

Looks like the processing times have increased at our local field office also, santa ana, ca.

                          This is really getting depressing.
