Applied 485 for my dad on 2/21/17, I m citizen, already have travel doc and ead.
Today received RFE for birth certificate.
I already sent with original application Non availability and 2 affidavits and 10th grade certificate showing date of birth. Why r they asking again.
Letter states: U submitted letter of unavailability, follow instructions below:
If birth cert is not available, u must submit letter from govt agency authorizing to issue birth cert stating this. Only with this letter, we can accept other evidence which includes but not limited to:
Early medical records
Early school records
Early religious records, and/or
2 or more affidavits
If u submit affidavit, they must have details on birth such as date and place, name of child, name of both parents and other related facts. Also, person giving affidavit must provide his name, date of birth, address and how he became aware of details about birth.
My question is affidavit I submitted already has all info except date of birth of person giving affidavit (it says he is 90 yrs old though).
What should I do.
They also requested 1 missing medical test also. Thanks.
