i-485 Employer Based, i-140 approval Pending- EB1

I am applying for i-485 Employer based assuming come Oct the priority date for EB1 go current again. My employer has already applied for i-140, but its not approved yet. I have following question, any help is much appreciated.

1. Should I wait for i-140 approval and only file i-485 after i-140?
2. My employer file i-140 in June if I file i-485 in October will this recent filing impact my 140 approval time lines, like will 140 get delayed?
3. Should I hire a lawyer or do it myself.

Since I am preparing the i485, I am not able see the Application Category type spouse and children in new i-485, does anybody have any information on this or any one filed 485 recently.

I can't think of a reason for delaying applying for adjustment of status any more than necessary

Everyone in your family will check "alien worker" in Part 2 Question 1.b, you will complete Part 2 Questions 3 & 4, and your spouse and children will complete Part 2 Questions 5-9
