I-485 rfe response - forgot to enclose rfe letter

I received RFE for my I-485 application to submit supplement J form and new I-693 form since my medical was expired. I have enclosed coversheet from RFE letter, supplement J form & I-693 form, but forgot to enclose RFE letter itself. My response was delivered to USCIS on 9/11/2017.

I am planning to send RFE letter with a cover letter explaining my scenario tomorrow to USCIS. Please let me know if it is fine or not. Appreciate your help.

Hi, I think it would be fine if you send the RFE letter with another cover letter. I did the same thing because I received my RFE letter the day after I sent my RFE ( new medical form). Then, I sent the RFE letter with another cover letter and mentioned the receit and A number in bold on the envelop." My GC is already approved so I think its ok.
