Interview Receipt Lost, HELP!!

I was in a car accident and lost my interview receipt in the process. My interview is on June 7 at 1:30. What do I do? I called and they told me that they can not mail me another one - they will have to change the interview dates. I live in DC and my interview is in Fairfax, VA. Can I arrive with out the interview receipt and explain to them what happen or I won't be let in? Please help!!!

I don't want to change the dates for the interview date. I am applying for N-400.

is it for naturalization process? Even i lost my fingerprinting notice letter and I went in to the office through INFOPASS and she helped me saying that i can go to the fingerprinting office on that day itself.

So, my suggestion is go to INS office by taking appt. through INFOPASS and explain her the problem. Hopefully, they will be able to help you out.
