Hi guys,
Hope you are doing well. I am married to a USC wife. I came to the US as a student and have been in the country for almost 16 years. I have maintained my legal status all along. My wife was previously married and divorced. We met dated for few years and tied the knot. I filed for adjustment of status in June 2016 with priority date being June 22 2016. I had my interview around end of May 2017 in Atlanta office. I was not approved on the spot and the piece of paper that was given says further review. 3 plus month passed and no RFE or anything. I also renewed my EAD in early June and haven't received it yet.
On checking processing timeline for Atlanta, it shows Sept 30 2016. Should I wait till the end of Sept and give USCIS a call and have service request placed? It is really frustrating waiting. I have read worst cases of people waiting lot longer in this forum.
We live in two different states close by, i visit every 2 weeks or every weekend. We also belong to same community, culture ,language etc.
This was explained to the IO,and our plan on relocating together because of job etc..She seemed satisfied..
Also during the interview she had asked about the medical and mentioned i didnt get gonorrhea test. I just went and did the test and how would i know what test to take? No RFE yet..
What should I do?
I know I have no choice but to wait
