  • I-130 got approved and ready to file I-485

    Hi All,
I'm LPR and applied I-130 for my spouse as of September 2016 (filing date) and it got approved after 9 months. Now current VISA bulletin shows that one can apply for adjustment of status whose filing date is before Nov'16.
Am I reading it right? Any one sailing on the same boat and started applying for I-485?

    Thanks
    Kalyan

By the way, that statement is correct for October. Make sure you file it in October, and not now.

This information is good to know. But if I don't file it in October (due to some reasons) and if November bulletin says FINAL vs FILING, am I still eligible as my filing date is Sep 2016? or Should I hurry in October?

You will know when the November charts come out in mid-October. But there's no reason not to file as early as she can.
