  • 3 weeks since Interview , Still nothing . Involve congressman ???

    Hi there ,
First time posting, hopefully i can get some help . My husband and I went on our second interview three weeks ago, at the Baltimore office. Second interview because our first one which was only for i130 , was approved , and i was then a permanent resident . I became a citizen a month later and we filed i485, got another interview, that went pretty well. We thought we would get approved on the spot , as nothing was asked from us . now three weeks have passed and we are wondering if we should get congressman involved as we've read they can be helpful . What are your thoughts ? any success stories?
    Thanks

    congressman

if it was over 3 months instead of 3 weeks then maybe. It's way too soon for that.
This is my opinion not legal advice.

You gotta wait. 3 weeks is not a long time to wait after an interview. Most people are waiting for over 3 months
I say call the USCIS or make an appointment to talk to an officer / infopass or something.

It's too early to call the Congress person.
