Gave interview yesterday. IO requested to reschedule

Hi everyone,
I had the interview yesterday and didn't go well. My husband is US citizen and i am the immigrant. my husband doesn't speak very well english since he has been around the same language speaking people. we are the same nationality and we speak our language at home. Our interview went about 25 min. the IO asked me a lot of questions and then he started to ask my husband , my husband told him that he doesn't understand very well english. the IO got very upset and rude. he asked my husband a complicated question regarding his past marriage. he didn't understand the question and the IO got even more upset. all our doc were fine. we have, lease, joint account, electricity and gas bills, health insurance and a lot of pic with our family. the IO tried to find an interpreter but they were busy. the IO said that the case will be rescheduled. my EAD is expiring in January and i just started to work.
Can i request an extension of my EAD?
did anyone had a similar experience?
does any one know how long will take for the interview to be rescheduled?
i am very anxious at this time. anything will help.

You can apply for EAD extension, it takes a few months so you should start now.

From what I have seen on many forums, the new interview time varies, it really depends on your case and your field office.
