Hi all,
My husband is under a H1B expiring on March 2018. I am currently under the H4.
His company submitted the PERM application end of June 2017 and so he should be getting an answer quite soon.
Upon PERM approval his company will conjointly file the I-140 as Premium Processing and I-485 (for me also).
However he just told me he feels the company he works for could close by year end.
So what are our options ?
Can he work somewhere else (doing the same job) if he only has the EAD ?
I know there is this 6 months rule, but what if his company closes, he is unemployed and start working only 6 months after his I-140 got approved ?
What about finding a job myself and applying to get an E2 for me ? Would that endanger our I-485 application ?
Also can I travel in and out of the US during these periods
