i need help fellas!i am based in Detroit ,Michigan.I got married 4 years ago. my wife petitioned on my behalf 3years ago so that i will get my permanent residency.There ware some discrepancies in our answers at the interview. nevertheless, we have been together. Our marriage didn't work .prior to getting a divorce, i also started talking to someone and we fell in love and decided to get married but before i do that i had to get my divorce.we did get a divorce.7 days before my divorce certificate absolute comes in USCIS wrote to me, stating their investigations and asking me to provide evidence. Do they have a case since I divorced before their request came in? Also, will this situation affect my second marriage?

no I only had my EAD Card for the past 3 year. I don't have my greencard yet

Withdraw or terminate original case and start over with new wife.

So how many time did they interview you with your previous marriage. What was your status before? Now you can get divorced papers withdraw the case. Take time with your new love and start over again and file the AOS.
My previous marriage last 2 years And didnt work out anymore. I got 2 EAD and left the unfinished papers. I remarried and file the AOS again. Just take time and save a lot of proofs you will be fine if it s legitimate.

we were interviewed just once with my previous marriage. i overstayed my b1/b2 visa so I was out of status before I got marriage to my ex..okay I will do just that.
