I-485 I-131- I-765 application delay

Hi there,
Would just like to ask you a very quick question. I got married from USA citizen and I filed for adjustment of status along with I-765 and I-131 through our lawyer on February 2017. According to our lawyer, USCIS cashed out the money on March but I did not receive the notice until June 11th and the application received date on the papers by USCIS was on June 5th 2017. I had Biometrics taken on June 28th but nothing has progressed since. what should I do? And does anyone know why I didn't receive the notice earlier? please help!!

i have hope reading your timeline. And here i was thinking mine was taking the whole time.

Just have patience. You'll can call them and find out whats happening or maybe raise a service request which i did recently.

This thing is just patience.

Did you receive any RFIE?

Could be any of a lot of reasons:

1. Attorney did not submit your package until late May.
2. Attorney submitted earlier, but got a Request for Evidence and resubmitted
3. You case got transferred from one USCIS location to another, which may easily delay sending you receipts

You are now waiting for your Employment Authorization, about 3 months after your Biometrics.
There is nothing you can do abodu the delay in getting the receipt, except to monitor your attorney more closely.

Right now you are in routine "waiting" mode and don't need any help except about what to take and say at your Adjustment of Status interview.
