  • i-130 & i-485 still pending since November 2015. Miami. Am I alone here?

Uscis got our i-130 and i-485 on november 2015. I got my fingerprints done and received my work permit in the next few months. After that - nothing for a year and a half. We are married for two years now already.
Is there someone else out there with the same wait-experience?
My file is still in Miami field office, although we moved to Broward County a year ago.

mine took 26 months for interview in 1999. Best part was skipped the temporary.

I'm a derivative asylee and applied for adjust of status on September/2016 at Texas Service center. I did the fingerprint in October/2016 and until today I don't have any news about my case. I'm also at Broward County. I know it's very frustrating to wait for such long time. I hope that we can get a good news soon. Good luck for all of us !

I made twice an inquiry with USCIS in the past year. The latest, they've replied to i-130 request with a template letter saying its still within a normal processing time. But its been almost two years of processing.
To i-485's request i got answered that they can't proceed with my application until the required background check is done. SO i don't even know

            26 months? O.O
And they still asked you for the interview?
Im hoping i'll get my card in the mail without an interview.

              I hope so...
I thought that when i moved from Miami to Broward, they would transfer the case to the Oakland Park office. But apparently not. I still got a reply from USCIS to my inquiry from Miami's office.
Did you submit an inquiry with cis?

                Another question at this point:
my husbands i-130 hasn't yet been approved. After almost two years. Thus the uSCIS can't proceed with my i-485 petition as I understand. I thought to apply for Ombudsman. The question is from whom should we apply - from my husband's name (US citizen) or mine? It says - "the person encountering difficulties with USCIS". Ultimately the issue is my green-card - thats what we want, so we can move, and travel, etc. But i guess it should be better if we write an application from his name? Any suggestions?
                Thank you

Your husband should contact his Congressperson to help intervene in his case

As for you, you do not need to wait for I-130 approval in order to apply for I-485. You can send Form I-485 with the required documents attaching your husbands I-130 filing receipt

It was a concurrent filing of 130 and 485. both pending since november 2015
