B1/B2 visa for spouse of I-485 applicant

Hi,

Right now, my situation is that I'm on my H1B visa, which expires on Sep. 1st, 2018.

I also have the EAD/AP combo card from my I-485 application, which is pending.

Unfortunately, I was laid off by company A last month, but I just find a post-doc position in University B this week.

Given my current situation mentioned above, I wonder whether my wife (she is abroad) can apply for B1/B2 visa to visit me?

If so, what's the odds that her B1/B2 visa application gets approved?

If not, is there any other way for my wife to come to the U.S. as soon as possible?

She can try, but she has to convince the officer that she will leave and won't just file I-485 when she is here.
