  • Houston Filers Delay

ok guys, I'm beginning to get worried.
    PD 06/06/2016
    AOS Ready for scheduling 07/29/2016
    EAD approved 09/20/2016
    EAD in hand 10/10/2016
Till now, no interview date. I called 07/2017 trying to find out why there's a delay, got a reply to expect a date within 45 - 60 days. 60 days elapsed, interview still not scheduled. Its 16 months since PD. EAD now expired. Put in documents for renewal. Anyone with similar case?

NB: Travelled once with Advanced Parole. And also RFE for no medicals included while filing. RFE said to bring medical to interview when scheduled.
    Frustration beginning to set in.

    Use your senator

The Official U.S. Senate website of Senator Ted Cruz of Texas

Friend of mine was late with his AOS and had heard nothing however within days of contacting Senator Cruz, his GC was in the mail..coincidence? Who knows.

I'm sure Houston USCIS office was hit by the recent storms. Still, worth trying.
