    Dear Mr. YYYY X:

Thank you for contacting our office regarding the status of your pending I-765, Application for Employment Authorization. Our office is best able to assist constituents when their cases have moved outside of normal processing parameters. At this time there does not appear to have been any unusual or procedural delay that our intervention would help to alleviate.

Please continue to monitor the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services processing times by visiting the following USCIS website: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplay.do. According to USCIS?s website the National Benefits, where your case has been assigned, is currently adjudicating I-765, Application for Employment Authorization that were filed on or before 10/06/2017. As such it seems likely that it will be a few months before USCIS is able to provide further update on your case. Please continue to monitor the processing times through USCIS?s website and if your case moves out of the stated current processing timeframe, then you should notify our office right away to seek further assistance.

It is my recommendation that you keep our office informed of your progress and request our assistance should any problems arise. Please feel free to contact our Seattle office with any questions or concerns you may have in the meantime.

    Sincerely,

    Sarah Monteith
Immigration Constituent Service & Outreach Representative
    United States Senator Patty Murray

Anybody have any similar experiences or suggestions what I can do at this point?

It depends on where you are filing from, that is, where you live and the nearest field office to that location. Like my field office, Hialeah FL there's about a 8 months wait, so about May/June. But if you're lucky enough to be in like North Carolina etc you would have gotten an interview notice already as their processing times are less than 6 months.

She is referring to the EAD, it's really sad so many of you are still waiting. Sigh, seek comfort in your partner and family because honestly this journey is a very long and tough one. Bless!

Thank you for your reply! I have filed to Chicago office, but am guessing it could be reassigned to another office. I will double-check this information on the receipt notice once I get home.
I am usually fine with waiting, but we wanted to move to another state and I have a feeling it can mess up my Green Card process =/

Have you ever considered that maybe there is another factor (or most likely a combination of factors that include high volume) that is causing your petition to take longer? High volume from DACA applicants alone doesn't explain why some get theirs quickly and others slowly.

And empathy doesn't require personal experience. I am sorry that your EAD has taken so long, and I can imagine how frustrating that is.
Whatever you say ma?am if it makes you feel better about yourself,it?s easy to talk when you?re not in someone else?s shoes, some people on this forum that knocked on the door to enter American soil are losing their jobs, while other people that didn?t can?t keep their jobs and live on the welfare, don?t you think that as an American citizen you should stand for the homeless veterans that bled and almost die for our freedom? I am leaving if they denied my petition because I respect the law,and all these years living ilegally here I?ve volunteered in the community to make up for the spot I got,I don?t like to take free rides on nobody?s train,I never have,i always have worked for I got

You are here illegally for 11+ years and you have the odicity to complain? You're saying you respect the law, but that's not true since you're here illegally. You either respect the law or you don't. You can't pick and choose which law you respect and which you aren't.

Hey Jcanqueen, I am filing from Charlotte, North Carolina. Just curious as to where you see the processing times for interview notices by state! Thank you so much.

When you say you filed to chicago office, i hope you're not referring to the Chicago Lockbox where most concurrent i-130 and i-485 applications are sent. In which state do you live? Where did you do your biometrics? Because often times it is where you did your biometrics your interview will be scheduled.
Reason i'm asking because a lot of people confuse the Lockbox, National Benefits Center and the field offices(where interviews are conducted/scheduled). It's the field office processing times you should be following in relation to the interview. And yes I'm worried about that too, I read instances where moving for some lengthened when you would receive an interview notice and at the same time shortened it for some people. It depends on where you move to.

I just look at the processing times for the field offices in North Carolina as well as filers' journeys from North Carolina on this forum. Especially with Raleigh field office, they get interview notices pretty quickly. I also have a friend from that area that had gotten her green card in less than six months.

The EAD is case by case, some people receive it less than 90 days. The interview depends on the field office in Long Island. Check out this link..

I appreciate your answer. I'm interested for my cousin that filed everything in October, I think it's been more than four months and no EAD yet or letter for interview. The link that you sent I can't open.
