hi,
here is my situation: after filing for I485 01/2002 (california service center)thru a hitech company , my company shut down in April 2003, and I haven't been able to find a similar job yet.
I am still renewing my EAD and have found a job outside of the hitech industry, but no luck finding a similar job in hitech yet.
I have received a request from INS for a second finger printing, so it seems like the wheels are at motion. However, I am worried about receiving RFI for paystubs/w2/letter from employer after I get the second finger printing done. So I ask those of you who are familiar with the process:
1- what are the chances of receiving such request for extra information for letter of employment/paystubs/etc. after my second finger printing?
2- what are the chances of being called to an actual interview before AOS is granted? does everyone go through an interview or are some cases approved without any interview?
3- can an AOS approval be obtained even if one is working in a different profession than the one applied for?
I certainly appreciate all your help and feed back.
thanks.
