Does the priority date make any difference or its based on which in line u are?

I don't think it makes any difference, at least for people who are filing for greencard on a USC spouse basis. PD just seems like the date when USCIS received your case.

Thank u! Was just curious as im still not understanding the whole “priority date” thing. Im married to a US citizen and PD was august 2009, was hoping that would maybe push me ahead of line .. but guess not 🤓🤓

Ah okay. Maybe that's why you are moving faster than most of the September Filers becase I believe most of us file 130 and 485 concurrently

I dont think im moving faster tho... comparing all others ppl cases, its the same .. i just sent less forms, because I 130 was approved , so i just sent a receipt. But online status changed maybe faster, however nothing since.
