Next step after EAD approval?

Hi everyone- applying for AOS/GC based on marriage to USC. I am the USC and my partner is the immigrant. We filed the I-130, I-485, and the I-765 concurrently. The I-765 was approved recently and we received the EAD card. My question, what is the next step after this? Will USCIS schedule our case for an interview? Is there an intermediate step? We filed in July from NY and application is being processed at NBC. I have feeling we will have a long time to wait until interview is scheduled....

There is nothing to do after EAD except wait for the immigration to schedule your interview which will b any time from now to a year.

Next step will be interview. You will receive a notice in the mail. It may be a long or short time depending on how many people are waiting in front of you in NY. If you are upstate it will be relatively short compared to NYC.
