I wanted to encourage everyone waiting for approval....make Infopass and ask about your case. I just came back from Immigration office in Atlanta, GA where I had my interview 3 months ago. Luckily I could speak with IO that did our interview.
He told me that our file is without any problems and he will approve me this afternoon. He said he forgot about me, he got sidetracked
I could not believe it....stressing for 3 months and everything was ok, just delayed.
IO told us if we can wait he will work on my file while we are there and if he needs anything he will let us know. We waited for 3 hours, after that officer came out and showed me piece of paper printed out of their system showing all 3 applications approved.
I can't imagine what would happen if I didn't schedule Infopass and ask. I could be waiting forever. It really looks like Atlanta office is just backed up after all.
