Not approved on the spot & no EAD

I have been reading a lot on this forum so I decided to officially join today. I applied for marriage based AOS & already had my interview in Boston on Sept 27. We were seperated. USC spouse was called first, I went in about 20 mins after, spouse was still in there but in a different direction. It was a tedious process as I was asked about 20 questions but from my observation, I think we did well cos IO marked about 95% of my answers correct and we had all the necessary documents(rental agreement, utility bill, joint back account, photos). We were not approved on the spot but was told that decision will be mailed to us. I've not received any info neither did I receive EAD. Online status has not been updated too.The silence is frustrating considering that I dont have EAD to work. Any advice please?

Have you called into the customer service line? They might be able to let you know what the normal wait time is for a decision after interview is. Then you will know if its too long or not. If its over normal time, you should be able to schedule an appointment with an IO through infopass to get a proper update. Its possible the office is so busy, your file got buried under some paperwork and it may have fallen off the radar. I have heard of it happening. Good luck. Hopefully you wont have to wait too much longer.
