  • Concurrent Filing I-130, I-485 - Questions related to an old petition -Please help.

I had posted this question about two days ago but did not see it on the site yet, so was not sure if I posted it correctly or it has been approved by moderators, yet. I apologize if its a duplicate.

I am planning to file I-130, I-485 for my father, he is a widower since 1998. My mother sister had filed my mother's GC petition in 1987 and my father also became eligible (being the spouse) for the Immigration Visa. The case got approved in 2000 and USCIS notified us to come for the Visa Interview. However, since my mother had passed away in 1998, and she was the primary applicant the process could not go further and my father had informed the US Consulate and also submitted the Death Certificate.

With the above situation in mind:
Question #1: On I-485 Do I have indicate "Yes" for the question: "Have you ever applied for an immigrant visa to obtain permanent resident status at a U.S.Embassy or US Consulate abroad?"
This also is a question on I-130. Please advise.
question #2: Since my father is here on B2 visa and I decided to file his Petition, do I fill the mailing address as the one in the US or India one. I have been told once the application is filed and if he receives a case number he should not leave US. So he won't be able to use his India address for the mailings, right?
Question #3: Do I file I-131 for the Advance Parole along with the I-130 & I-485 or should it be done after the case has been accepted?

    Please help. Thank you.

    1) Yes.
    2) US address.
    3) You can file everything together.
    Not legal advice.
