I'm just thinking in terms of how it would affect my application - I think somewhere in my forms I had to fill in the last date I entered into the US and my I94 info. Wouldn't my travel after I submitted my application but before I receive my receipt affect this info, hence the info won't be correct?

You should be able to give them the new dates when you go in for your interview. But I know if you are gone for a certain amount of time it can make your application invalid tho, right?

Information was correct at the time you filled the forms. It will have no effect.
