  • EAD pending more than 120 days, submitted in July

I am here to see if someone had similar experience can shed some light, i am really anxious now as i have been out of work for 3 months.
    office: San Diego

    applied I485, I765, I131, I130

    case received notice 7/12
    bio appt: 8/8,
I485 status ready for interview: 8/12,
    Nothing updated for any others...

submitted SR for I765 on 10/12, still no response, and said SR hasn't been assigned...

still not hearing anything back yet. it has been more than 120 days. I don't know what's going on, has it happened to anyone? is this common recently?

Have the same situation here. My PD IS JUNE 29th. Did service request on 10/25. It’s been assigned and completed, but I didn’t get any updates on my I-765..

    Case history states now:

Oct 25th inquiry been assigned to an officer for response
Oct25th we SENT a response to your inquiry about the status of your EAD
Oct 25th your inquiry was complete

Like I have told Oxy2608, contact your congressman. You can find out who is your rep by searching it on Google. It takes time. I submitted a case inquiry 9/2 with an expected response by 9/24. I never got a response and it kept saying that it was not assigned to anyone yet. Until 10/17, which is after I got my interview notice and my EAD. That is when everything except I-130 got updated. Patience people patience. My PD is 6/5.
      Forms sent 6/2
      Forms received 6/4
      Received texts/e-mails 6/6
      PD 6/5 & 6/6
NOA between 6/8 and 6/12 (I was out of town)
Biometrics letter in mail 6/17 w/ 6/28 date
      SR 9/2
      Contacted Congressman 10/1
      Called the Congressman's office 10/10
      Interview letter 10/10
      Approval Letters for I-765 and I-131 10/16
      Received EAD/AP card 10/17
      Interview 11/8 RFE after
      New Card Being Produced 11/16
      Conditional GC received 11/24

thanks for the tips. Did you contact congresssman? Should i go through my lawyer? So if i understand correctly, you got your interview and EAD before 10/17 but the SR response came on 10/17 right? looks like it could take almost up to 130 days now...

I would suggest to do another SR request. My first SR was taking forever so I did a second one. It’s been assigned and completed the same day on October 25th and yesterday night I had a notification that my EAD been ordered and will be mailed. Good luck!

I did submitted 2nd time after i saw your reply. But now my case history doesn't show my 1st inquiry(submitted Oct 13) anymore, instead, it says"As of November 3, 2017, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application is currently not assigned for processing." Did that happen to you too?

Yes, the first SR disappeared. But the second one changed the status from not being assigned to being assigned and completed within the same day. Then after a week the status of my i765 changed to “we ordered your new card and will mail it to the address you provided to us”

My field office is in Norfolk, VA. But I believe all the I-765 forms are being processed in National Benefits Center. It’s been 129 days from the day they received the form to the day I got an approval notice in mail (which I got yesterday).
