Hi everyone. Just got a evidence request for my aos due to the marriage with USC. The request wants a i-130a form filled and signed. I wanted to ask what is this form for and why they need that. I will send it asap but I even dont know if I (beneficiary) or my wife( Usc) need to fill it ? If anyone helps me out I would appreciate!

It says this form is for i485
Originally posted by Jcanqueen View PostAn i-130a is always filed with the i-130, it replaced the G325a. It's basically a form asking biographic information about the beneficiary. Because you're adjusting status inside the US, the form has to be filled out and signed by you, the beneficiary. Don't worry it's a simple form. Info about you, like dob, current address etc, parents name and dob and i think it asks employment info.
Edit; I just verified with an attorney and the info is correct.
Wish everyone good luck with this stressfull journey one more time, hope everybody gets what they need asap.Last edited by cenkbhdr34; 11-02-2017, 08:33 PM.
