Anyone out there filing for the LA County office? I just wanted to know the rough wait times and how long it takes to schedule interview. We have been ready to schedule and interview since mid September.

AoS from H1B. Does the transfer from affect how long it takes?

    Thanks

It's a little weird... The Los Angeles field office and the Los Angeles County field offices have different pages and hours but the same location.

Our office was the Los Angeles field office and interview time was 7:00 AM (even though the page indicates the office hours are 8:00 - 4:30).

You can find your office by using this tool and entering your Zip

Hi, I'm also filing from Los Angeles. My PD is 6/7 and got my EAD combo card on 10/27. My I-485 online status has been "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" since 09/18.

Maybe the offices are on different floors or suites? I'm not entirely sure what area the LA County office covers. I know there are field offices in San Bernardino, Santa Ana and Anaheim (I believe).

Also filing from LA and I'm pretty sure our interview will be at the downtown office. PD is 08/08. No word on EAD/AP yet. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone...

It's a big multi-story building so different floors are entirely possible.

If you enter the zip code of your address into this tool you will be given your field office

The service area option for each displays all the zip codes covered for the selected field office.
