Discrepancies in DOB on VISA and pasport. Help!

Hi,
i have a quick question. I am applying for my dad and he has always had a wrong DOB on his Peruvian passport as well as most of his legal documents in Peru. His Birth certificate however has the correct but different DOB. We have started a process to correct most of his documents to the CORRECT date as shown on his birth certificate. Namely, his peruvian ID and his passport both of which should come soon. My question is:

His old passport has his B2 visa in it with the OLD (wrong) date and I've read that I need to submit a copy of such page on his OLD passport along with the NEW UPDATED passport... Obviously, these two are gonna have different DOB's. Will this be a problem? DO i need to submit a change of DOB for this as well? Can i just submit a letter explaining this when submitting all documents? Thanks

If there's a legal document(s) showing this change, you should absolutely submit it, as well as a cover letter. USCIS takes discrepancies seriously. You may also seek a legal guidance, if you'd like to.
