  • Waiting 8 months to be scheduled for interview

I filed concurrent i130,i485 I-797 in nyc I did my biometrics in feb but my case was delayed because I needed more evidence then I received my work permit in June. My case as been updates to ready to schedule for an interview since march 29,2017. How long does it to take for someone to be scheduled for an interview any nyc files with the similar story ? I’m getting impatient

    I filed December-2d 2016 from Brooklyn NYC
Got my interview letter September 18th 2017
Interview was scheduled for October 24th 2017
Had my interview October 24th, was not given any decision on the spot
Received a letter from IO saying that my case is under review, please allow 120 days for a decision
November 24th Green Card went into the production
Now waiting for it to come in the mail
People who filed end of December and first part of January received their interview notices for November and December 2017 dates
Approximate waiting time for the interview in NYC area 10-11 months from your PD date
    Good luck!

      Our timeline:
      PD: April 2017
      Fingerprint: May 2017
      Ead approved: July 2017
EAD lost in the mail and sent back to USCIS July to Sept
Interview ready to be scheduled: July 2017
...Were still waiting for our interview. I don't even have my EAD.
      We filed in Dallas

I have a similar story. I filed concurrent I-130 and I-485 in NYC and did my biometrics in Feb. I was also requested to provide more evidence in Jan. My case status was updated to 'ready to schedule for an interview' in April 2017. No interview letter yet.

BTW, how do I know which field office should I select to check the processing time (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processT...splayInit.do)? The page says the field office can be found on my receipt notice, but I didn't see it. Would it be based on my zip code, or the direct filing address (I filed it to the Chicago lockbox)?

Your field office is most likely where you had your bio done.
