  • Interview for AOS was cancelled due to "unforseen circumstances".And I-485 got denied

My interview for 10/24 was cancelled and reason was due to "unforseen circumstances". I also called tier 2 immigration officer, she told me I don't need to go to an interview. Therefore, I didn't show up in the interview. On Nov 2, the status was updated "we denied your I-485 case." Now, I am still waiting for the Notice. Did anyone get denied after the interview got cancelled?

It happens , they cancel interviews but its not really cancelled . Thats why its always good to still go anyway but to late for that now.
You can appeal and ask to reopen case. Call leve two officer again and explain your case also Infopass walkin I would recommend

Thanks for the quick reply and help. My interview was scheduled in Orlando. But, I recently moved from Orlando, FL to Boca Raton, FL. Do I need to go to the orlando USCIS office, where my interview was scheduled or I can go to location closer to me? Do you know, how much time it usually takes to reschedule the interview again, if I appeal?

Well mutliple things going on in your case but you have to go to the office where you got the interview letter from. Go there like tomorrow morning and demand to go in and speak with immigration service officer. Its because once the deny your case they will send your file back to the archives and it can take really long to get that sorted out then.

The inforPass appointment is not available as of today. Will they allow me to go in and speak in person?
