  • Petition form signed 4months ago,yet not forwarded to USCIS

Hi everyone, pls i'd like to ask if it's okay. We signed all AOS forms as far back as August. But the papers are still with us due to lack of a person to sign the Joint sponsors form . Hope the date won't be a problem when we later submit it to USCIS?Thanks.

Your petition doesnt expire.. u have to call them.. my petition was approved back in 2009, but i couldnt apply for adjustent back than, applied now and all is fine. As long as u call the NVC every year i think, to make sure, your petition didnt expired.

I actually thought, my husband would have to petition again but no, so you dont lose the fees you already paid. However, mine was already approved, is yours? If it isnt even approved the forms may expire because of the date on them...

check the expiry dates on the forms. Some forms have expired and some are no longer in use.

          Thanks dreamerdancer

I appreciate so much your advice dreamerdancer. It's very helpful. Thank you., my forms are still with me. Just waiting for joint sponsor to provide form I-864 and tax papers since spouse doesn't earn enough. We are filing everything concurrently.
