  • Biometrics Question

    Hey Guys,

I got my receipts for form I-130, I-485, and I-765 in the mail this afternoon. My case status shows "fingerprint fee was received". I understand that my next step is the biometric appointment to get my fingerprints and that I should be receiving a letter in the mail soon regarding the appointment. My question is regarding the vaccines. I did not send that form with my application. Do I have to have my vaccines completed and filled form by doctor before biometrics appointment or is it before the interview?

I got my biometrics appt letter along with all receipts, same day, multiple envelopes. I didnt send the medicals either, because in the instructions , they advice us to wait, as the process may take a while and the forms might expire, you just bring the medicals to your interview. And you have plenty of time. I didnt want to spend money on a dr. Visit and than have it all possibly expire...seems, they dont really need it until at the interview...unless you wont get called for an interview ( which most couples do), youre saving yourself being nervous as to, when your interview will happen...

No. The biometric appointment is just fingerprinting so they can run an FBI background check on you. It has nothing to do with your health.

You will need to bring the completed and sealed I-693 to your interview. That will include your immunizations.
