Id say do it yourself! Its not that complicated, u have to do some research , so you understand the immigration categories etc. etc., i did spend a lot of time on it..going over and over things, making sure, i really understood the questions , its exhausting, no doubt, but if you do your homework, its def doable..after all, you save, you dont have to chase your lawyer down for time, questions, meetings...its all about money..if you can answer those questions yourself, you dont need to pay someone to confirm, you were right..you are your best advocate, coz its in your very interest!

If you need to use a lawyer don't scrimp on the cost. They have spent years learning what they know and they deserve to be paid for their expertise. My husbands situation was more complicated and so I am glad we spent the extra money for the lawyer to help with his adjustment of status.

However, I do not plan on using one for his naturalization.
