June PD, Interview, RFE and USCIS I-1485 Updated Today

    June PD, Interview, RFE and USCIS I-1485 Updated Today

    So My PD is June 6th, I had my biometrics 6/28...long wait, interview notice 10/10, EAD 10/17, interview 11/8. At the interview everything was going great until the IO asked for an extended birth certificate. I only had the shortened version so immediately after the interview, my husband and I went to the Polish Consulate. The people there did not help. I called the Polish Consulate in NY and DC. Thursday I wrote an enablement letter for a family friend back in Poland that basically states that I am giving her the permission to represent me and get my extended birth certificate. Friday I sent it via FedEx Express Priority, paid $106 and it arrived in Poland Tuesday. My family friend got the birth certificate yesterday and mailed it to me.

    Just a few moments ago, I got an e-mail and text notification that I-485 got an update. I check and it says "New Card Is Being Produced"...Now I do not know if this is some kind of joke or what....I literally started crying.

    Omg Congrats hun! I've been following your updates and frustration with the birth certificate situation since you posted it and I feel jubilant...i'm so happy for you! You can relax now...and no I don't think thats a joke

      I am still shaking. I just hope it won't get lost as I have been reading that some people got theirs lost.

          Holy cow, they need a hard copy of the proxy letter? I just took a pic with my photo ID and sent it to my mom. Anyways Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
          PD: 08/30/2017

          11/14/2017, I-765 status was changed to "New card is being produced".
          11/16/2017, I-765 status was changed to "Card was Mailed To Me".
          11/18/2017, Approval notices were received in mail for I-765 and 1-131. they would be valid for one year.
          11/20/2017, Combo card was delivered.
          09/06/2018, EAD renewal was received.
          09/17/2018, Fingerprint Review was completed.
          11/19/2018, Interview was scheduled.
