Yes she is. The IO said that if we don't get a decision after 120 days to call in which we did but the person on the phone said that we can't do a status inquiry because it's within the processing time frame and to wait... I found a post somewhere a person applying under 245i received a decision like after 6 months after the interview.

At the interview they asked some of the i-485 questions but majority of the interview was about how she got into the country. From what I remember the officer wanted to check the i-130 or some other petition that my brother submitted. We showed the officer my dad's labor certification and the evidence of physical presence showing that my mom qualifies to be a derivative. So I don't understand why he wants to check what my brother submitted.

So my mom doesn't have a copy of that original form, so meanwhile what I'm going to do is try get a record of that I-130 form and try to make an info pass and give it to them, because I have a feeling they are going to take forever.

I think we did a good job at answering those two questions.
So after that she gives you paper saying if you are recommended for approval or need to verify the case, or needs more papers from you . sadly we were not recommended for approval because i enter with out inspection and I'm filing through section 245(i) so she wants to see the original application that my mom filed in April 2000. She said she was going to try to get it her self so she was going to just mail us a letter with verdict of the case. So is the waiting game again but i really hope it doesn't take that long.

I really recommend you guys to look at your applications again and just practice the more simple questions out loud like your husbands birthday, in-laws names birthdays, the date you were married. I don't know i guess i was just to nervous, I been with my husband for 8 years and every single year we celebrate my stepsons birthday and i just can't believe i froze like that.

I am very happy to update you all that my hubby and I had our AOS interview last Aug 31, and we were approved on the spot! The interview went smoothly, the IO was a nice lady, and it was such a relaxed atmosphere that we ended up laughing, telling stories about our respective dogs. After about 30 minutes, the IO said to me, "Since you've only been married for less than two years, you will get the conditional green card. You will come back after 2 years to remove the conditions..." My mind was reeling with questions, does this mean we're approved? Then my husband interrupted the IO, "excuse me, but does this mean we're approved?" I stopped breathing. The IO said, "yes I am approving you right now". I mentally shrieked. She said she doesn't see anything wrong with our case and that the folder we gave her with new evidences are well-organized. Then she handed me a piece of paper to sign, the "Notice to Conditional Permanent Residents". Then she told us to just wait for the green card to arrive by mail in 2-3 weeks. I'll try to post a more detailed account under August Interviewees thread, with screenshots of our Table of Contents.

After 283 days, our AOS journey is finally overrr! And we couldn't thank Immihelp, the AOS forum and the members enough for all the valuable information, experiences, suggestion, recommendation they offered. Special mention to UScitizenFilingforspouse, from whom I first heard about 'Living Will' months ago, I had to google it; Emerald 2020, whose Table of Contents format I followed; and newacct, from whom I learned a lot about immigration status/policies with his/her insightful contributions, sometimes I think s/he could be an immigration lawyer or a USCIS IO lol.

Thank you all, and good luck to everybody still awaiting results/updates. One thing I learned from this journey: everything's eventual. The waiting will pass so just be patient.

P.S. While waiting for our name to be called, hubby and I took selfies in the empty lobby. It was just us in the lobby so we asked a staff in one of the windows if we can take pictures with the flags and she said yes. So here's one we took of the lobby lol.
Congratulations on your baby! More power to you for mustering the strength to go to USCIS right after giving birth. Congrats on your immediate approval. Please send me a private message with the link to your Table of Contents, once you've posted it. I would like to add it to the list of resources on this thread. https://www.immihelp.com/forum/showt...interview-tips

    All the best,

Congrats! I think your interview went well. You were clearly prepared. I am glad you were able to add it ALL to your file. Keep in mind that they will have to go through it ALL. While that may add a bit of time to the process, the more evidence they have the better. Just go on about your life. You will get your approval within the time the ISO quoted you.

You are now on the Removal of Conditions wagon. Continue gathering your evidence as it becomes available. Please follow the instructions. They want you to submit as many document as you can from the date of the marriage until the time you file. It's not from the time of your interview or the last 6 months. They want a continuum. See the screenshot below.

Remember that the I-751 is typically adjudicated at a Service Center. Do not assume that USCIS will transfer your AOS evidence to the Service Center. Even if you already submitted XYZ, just submit it again. Yes, it's going to weigh a ton. So plan accordingly and send it UPS ground or Fedex ground.

    All the best,

    Interview Experience DC office

We had our interview yesterday. We just went 15 min prior the time, but with the security and elevator we arrived almost just in time at the reception desk.
We wait for around 25 min to be called, but my husband went to the receptionist 15 min after we arrive to ask we they haven't call us if we were on time for the appointment. They told us that after they picked up our letter usually calls 20 min after that. This seams that the IO is random, and seams more random for how the interview was conducted, like if was the first time she saw the folder.

The interview lasted around 1.5 hr. but didn't seams that long, my husband talk to much. the IO was nice but always trying to be serious.
First she asked for our IDs, passports, EAD, husband birth certificate.
then ask if we have a join account I give her all the bank statements (she just took the last statement), copy of the cards, she didn't want the copy of the void check.
She ask me if I have something more to add, there I started:
My husband back statement highlighted the cellphone company and car insurance payments, this proves that he pay for that
My bank statement highlighted the city where I used the card, I told her that proves that my life is done around our house.
Copy of card health Insurance with both of our names
Copy of the cellphone invoices since my husband added me to his bill, she just took the last one, and then I told her that the first one show when he added me. (Is only on his name)
Copy of the car insurance with both of our names
Copy of my car property taxes and tittle, she asked why the car wasn't in both names, we didn't expect that question I just said that was a present from my uncle and that he has his own car too.
then she saw my big binder with more papers and she I asked me if I want it to add "all" and I said yes! (I spend to much time on this, of course I want it)
I give her the copy of the contract from where we buy our dog, receipt that I bought it, she didn't took it
Copy of the anniversary card, copy of the card statement where the presents were bought (her face said please stop give me stuff)
I just want to give her the plane ticket for an upcoming travel and concerts reservation.
Then I told her that I have pictures!, I give her the copies around 10 pages 4 pictures per page, asked that where I was in one pictures I show her and the I start telling who is who in some of the pictures.
Then she asked when we become girlfriend and boyfriend. My husband just said that when we start dating we didn't put a poster saying that, and tried to explain how everything started, but she keep asking for a date, he just say the month, then she asked how we meet. When I move in with my husband, who and when we propose, we just told her a month that if she wanted the exact date I can find when the picture was taken to figure it out, she said no.
She said that she is was going to ask some questions that only can be answer for the person who she is asking.
In laws names, parents birthdays, complete names of the spouses, address, jobs, jobs address, in fact she was verifying all the I485, "all" the fields.
Then she moves to the yes and no questions from the form, when the question about if I came to be in a polygamy my husband make a joke about it that change a bit the humor of the ambient about all those questions.

She asked if I have questions, my husband ask her when I going to receive my green card she said that her supervisor have to see the folder, then my husband said that I want to buy a new car and I can't get a car loan without it, she said that they first they have to do some security checking and could be in 30 days well at least he tried to get a date.

If the security checking is true and lets say that we were approved, this mean that if you are approved in the spot is because you were pre-approved and they already did the security checking, or who knows if depends of the office or because they have all the papers in the office, by the way my I130 is not approved yet, that might be the delay.
Another thing is that she didn't like that our forms were printed both sides.

I didn't make a Table of Content, just an Index of all the documents, I wait till the last day and I didn't have the time.

At least this the last step to get the GC, we just have to sit down and wait patiently.

    Good luck to everyone.
