No reason to bring wife and kids to asylum interview. But you shold tell them that you have also filed i-485 through marriage.

I was thinking of canceling it as its doesn't make sense to have two interview and i never been out of status when i applied.

I wouldn't cancel. I would go to the interview. If for some reason your AOS doesn't go through you would still be good with your Asylum. They told my husband not to give up his tps until he gets his AOS.

          i just had concerns
one of them is that my PD is march and now they are on Feburary my field office,
2nd it was suddnely after two weeks from now and i have to prepare for it as i heard i have to memorize everysingle details and squeze my memory to remmeber stuff from more than 8 years ago till i came to USA. and if i said i dont remeber they will consider my case is weak and they may cause me troubles. and i have load of works now and have to finish it by december which is the same day

i never been out of visa i had my visa till this year as i work and didn't neede even the EAD i had it when i applied for marriage and didn't use it till last month to continoue on it instead of my visa

Like the previous poster said I would just go to interview even if you think they might think your case is weak. As an asylee you will not have to remove conditions when you get a green card a year after getting asylum if your case is approved so thats money you save if you have not been married more than 2 years. And just because you local office is processing cases from February does not mean anything. Every case is unique and could be held up by one thing or another.

it's not about being weak but more about the time and my work. i have load of work and its some of them due by first week of december and some by January and i just knew two days ago. may be i will put it on hold untill i become free.
