Long Delay...I485 Asylum Based...HELP!

Hello-
I filed my petition in October 2016 and did my Bio-Metrics back in November. Since then I have not received any update on my case.It's been more than ONE YEAR and I'm starting to get impatient. I recently contacted my congressman to contact USCIS, they came back saying that FBI background check is still pending. What should I do? I can't wait forever. Shall I sue USCIS? anybody in the same boat?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Hello, I filed my case in September 16 (derivative asylee),and I'm still waiting for a decision. I called immigration 2 weeks ago and they filed a requested of my case and 4 days ago I got an email from them saying "
"We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days".
So, I have to wait a little bit more ..I hope to get a good decision after waiting for so long , I know this is so frustrating! I don't know if will be an interview or not .. So ..good luck to you and keep us posted! Have a great day.
