Hi , I filed I485 and I765 on March 2, 2017. As of today 11/28/17, I haven't received my EAD neither interview notice. Multiple service request with no luck. Every time, the response was "Your case is under review". I even made an infopass appointment at local USCIS office, but they couldn't do anything since the National Service center still has my file. Is it normal for I765 EAD take this long, more than 8 months?

What city are you in? You can submit an E-service request online here https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do. Select "case outside of normal processing time." This pushes the office to assign your case to an officer, and they say someone will respond via email within 15-30 days. Be warned, though, that my husband and I submitted 2 e-service requests and heard no response until I called USCIS customer service after the second service request and they said the email was sent to me, but I never got it. Basically the email told me that we are in line to be interviewed and will be notified when a date is set.
We are applying for I-130 and I-485. PD is March 7, 2017, receipt received a week later, biometrics a week or so after that, and as of April 12th, 2017 we are ready to be scheduled for an interview.
Hope this helps! You can also call your senators and congressman to try to expedite the process. By now, you should at least have your EAD.

I contacted USCIS several times for the last 4 months with no luck. Finally contacted local Congressman office 2 weeks ago. They said that I have to wait for 30 days in order for them to get a response. USCIS kept saying that due to the too many applications they have received , my vase have been delayed and will keep delaying. Even my lawyer doesn't know what to do. I filed in Los Angeles, CA

I hope your case will be approved soon, wish you all luck.
Want to share my experience - I've applied for I485 employment based (together with EAD/AP/I140) in July 2017, Nebraska center. Just received my EAD in December after 170 days. Key point in my case was request to a congressman office, USCIS agreed to expedite only after they asked. I've submitted request to expedite myself, got generic reply that they will not do it. Infopass appointment was useless, they try to send you back using generic answers and unless you are prepared to make some pressure you'll get something like - "submit service request online", I've heard several people before me went with this answer.
Again, good luck and patience.
