We also applied in January 2017. Around February this year, the status in the uscis page changed from "waiting for interview" to "call this number to receive information". I guess it was around the time that processing estimates increased. Last week the status changed again to "we updated your name" and not understanding what that meant I called, the person told me my case is being reviewed now. Does any of you have received that kind of update before? How long since then will we wait for an answer?

honestly no I have never seen an update like that but every case is different.
I hope other members here can give you an answer.

if it is an emergency call USCIS operators and see if they can help you expediate your application.

I never had to do this and i don t know if it is possible even but I am just suggesting. It won t hurt to try anyway...Good luck

Expediting hasn't worked for me.

I reapplied again for AP on May this year, since I have a health issue I submitted a ticket on June because I had surgery programmed back in my country for September. Long story short, I am still here. Countless of expediting requests later, they just told me I should wait for the officer in charge of my case to send me a letter with the request for information (since apparently, the proof of sickness I sent with the original submission will be disregarded once this goes into consideration) or the rejection.

They will tell you that communication with this officer is not possible, and no update will be reflected in the web page. First theu told me I had to wait 5 days, then 10 more, then 2 to 4 weeks, and well, I'm still waiting...

Please, if youdecide to get this expediting request when you call, make sure they submit it as URGENT.

when i was trying to get Infopass i was advised to try daily at 6am. I was trying for a while and was not able to schedule. may be you have more luck.

From another side, i was reading and from my personal experience InfoPass appointments useless, yo will get no more info than you could get over the phone.

Try around 11pm to midnight. The slots are released around this time so you will find a lot of available spots.

I have heard several March filers already got their interview dates. Houston speeded up the interviews!

Hey guys. Checking in to let you know we received a status change... Interview has been scheduled!!!! Just PRAYING for after 11/04. That is our 2 year anniversary. But either way, I dont care this is almost over! We finally did a bank transfer from the UK to close out my husbands accounts over there last week. So everything is falling in line beautifully.

Now to get this binder together with all the evidence!
