Yes I think so. A RFE also means that someone checked your application and soon will hear for interview.

      • Got my green card!

PD: Dec 27 2017 (I-485, I-131, I-765 etc), marriage-based spouse of USC out of Boston
        Biometrics: Jan 23
Case ready for interview: Feb 8
        Interview notice received: Apr 2
Online status change: April 6 (date on case status says Mar 27 though)
        Interview: May 2

USC husband and I went to interview with our lawyer. I was very nervous because there were two officers, but they asked some standard questions (what are your in laws names, what's your husband's birthday, how long have you been living together etc). They asked to look at our photos, from the wedding and recent ones, and looked at all the evidence we had brought in (utility bills, joint bank accounts etc.). I got fingerprinted and photographed and then we left. Whole thing took 30-45 mins, but they didn't say anything at the end about being approved. When lawyer asked, one of the officers said that she still needed to review all our paperwork, so I was very disheartened. Husband and I went out for drinks after and we got the online approval status about an hour later!

        NOA in mail: May 7
Green card in hand: May 8
(no update on EAD or AP - just says case received, but obviously it no longer matters)

Very grateful to this community! Good luck for everyone else!

I was on F-1 student visa. I don't know why there were two officers...I think the only "out of ordinary" thing about us was that we had a courthouse legal marriage with close friends only and waited to have the big celebration with all our friends and family 1.5 years later. But for us that's how life worked out!

But today it wasn't a duplicate! I didn't get the approval notice (so far), just that my card was ordered!!!

Call them and make sure they received the RFE. If they did then get your local congressman involved.

                            • Question

Hi Guys! So, I got my work permit + advanced parole but I was wondering how long it would take to get m interview notice. I got EAD April end and I started my process in December 17. Also, is it safe to travel outside of US with the advanced parole? I have the combo card. Which documents should I bring with me on my trip? I confess I?m little worried about traveling to Brazil to visit my family and get stuck on the airport coming back to us. Thank you so much.

                                Hi Bruna!
I think you will be fine travelling outside the country. I read a lot testimonials of people who traveled with Advanced Parole and even the ones who overstayed.
Some said they took the NOAs letter but they didn't request it at all, just the EAD card.

I am looking forward to get my Advanced Parole and travel to Brazil as well

                                Good luck
