Did they say anything about when you can next raise an SR? I haven't done one yet - on day 100 today - and am wondering whether it's worth trying now or waiting a bit longer.

No they didnt say anything about that.
Its useless doing it, since they updated the "timeline" for EAD to 2,5 - 5 months.

my SR is still unassigned so that may not be deciding in this. It's a luck game if anything.

Well here's hoping although my instinct tells me I'm in it for the long haul. The hubby did buy me a new car today though so at least I can get out and about now!

USCIS telling porkies!

So I got another email at 5.30 this morning; just the one this time as opposed to the 5 last week. This one again had no reference number so can't be certain which case its pertaining to. Like last week it said that my case is still being reviewed and there are no updates. It says my case last had action on December 20th which is odd as last week the dates given were Nov 2nd, Nov 30th and Dec 14th. So either they found **** *ally found some missing action from 3 months ago that they did not know about a week ago and have not updated online OR they are just adding a week on every time to make themselves look better. SR's still not assigned.

i read somewhere else if you are signed up for the https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant versus the egov, you automatically get those emails each week.

Oh really? Well that makes more sense as I signed up to that one 2 weeks ago. I have both in order to keep all bases covered. Still think they're making the dates up as they go along 😂

Called TIER 2

I just called tier 2 and he told me to wait ( of course ).

he told the office of santa ana - CA that I field is analyzing cases I485 from October 2016 and it will take at least 10 months to 18 months more.
I asked him about the combo card too and he told me they are analyzing cases from october 2017 now so I'll probably hear about it soon ( more 2 months ).
If I didnt hear about the combo in 2 months I have to call back.
Anyways, I hope you guys can have more lucky than me.

Social security number

can someone help me answer this question.
when i filled my form I-765 they asked if i wanted a social security number which i ticked YES. i recieved my ead combo card this week and was wondering if USCIS will send me a SSN or do i go to the office and apply for one?

I did the same and I got mine few days later after the combo card.

Which is your field office? Mine is Philadelphia. Last I checked they are working on applications from Feb 2017. I am in for a long wait for sure.

My SR is closed last week and heard nothing.. what does it mean?

your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number , was completed.

I haven't got any response in mail.
