Hi, i'm going to enroll into life insurance and put wife as beneficiary, i know is a dumb question but this green card is the most important thing for my future thus i dont want any mistakes, i don't need to enroll both me and her into two life insurance, i just need to enrol myself and add her as beneficiary and that will fulfil uscis requirement for it to work as proff of bona fide, correct? And will the amount matter? We're trying to save and right now dont really need life insurrance more tham to fill a requirement, so i will pick a cheap one hopefully uscis wont mind? Regards.

There is NO requirement to have life insurance. If you really think you do not need it then there is no point in getting it just to satisfy USCIS. My personal view is everyone needs to have life insurance especially given how cheap it is for most people. Doing things just to satisfy the USCIS is akin to manufacturing evidence and can lead you done a rat hole you dont want to go in.
