  • Approved at interview, however no letter or card in mail

Had my interview on 11/8/2017, officer approved my case right there, however as of 12/5/2017 no online case status change, no approval letter or green card in the mail. Would anyone have any insight as to when I should expect the status change online or even notification in the mail? Has there been delays in processing these approvals? Any information would be appreciated? Thank you!

I had my interview on 11/8 as well in Chicago and I was not approved on spot but I was rather told that they needed an extra document which nobody has told me of or nowhere does it state the document in their forms. I immediately did my best to get the document from my home country and it hasn't even arrived yet but then my online case status changed to card being produced like a week after the interview. I received my card the Friday after Thanksgiving. I would give them some time since I have read somewhere that it might take a few days, weeks or even months.

If anything, contact your congress person. Google it and based on your zip code, find your representative.

        In a similar situation

I am in a similar situation, interview on 10/19 and still no feedback. At Infopass on 11/22 we have been told there are no issues and we just need to wait.
        Here a similar thread

I am in a similar situation
          I130 PD 12/21
          I485 and I 765 PD 12/21
          EAD received on 04/17
Interview on 08/29 in Atlanta GA
Interview was smooth and easy and the IO approved it right away and told me that I should expect the card in 3 weeks.
11/21 went to an Info pass and been told the officer still has my file on her table and she had made me leave a comment for the IO. its been over 3 month as of now and I have not receive my GC and my EAD is about to expire in April.
Hopefully Santa will bring me the GC.

Congrats on your approval and sorry you are still waiting. I am just wondering if it's out of line to pull out your passport, open it on an empty page for the IO, and with a big smile say "thank you so much! would you please stamp my passport?"

My IO also approved my application at the end of the interview. He said there was no more stamping of passports for AOS applications. Just wait for the GC and approval letter to arrive.

My online status never got updated, although I did receive my GC in the mail in good time.

That's true for me also. My case status stopped updating several months ago although I got my green card within one week since the interview.
