  • RFE at the interview

My interview was in Newark Nj on 11/02/17. Everything went at the interview. My wife is the petitioner and I am the applicant for the green card. However the officer was not able to approve my application on cite but he did say he approved my wife's petition. How ever He gave us an RFE right after the interview and told us to mail it back along with some forms he wanted from the court where I was once arrested (Nothing federal). However i was just able to get a hold of the papers they requested today and will be mailing it to the USCIS office and he asked me to send the letter with his name on the envelope. However I want to know if this has ever happen to anyone. Does it take long to receive an answer from the officer?? please let me know if anyone had a similar experience I really want to travel soon but I cannot do anything at this point

A cousin of mine had to send in a few documents to her IO, it turned out fine
    She received her green card
I know it's stressful but try your best to be patient and calm
    Good luck

Do you know about how long it took your cousins IO to reply back?
