  • Confused by USCIS Website.

Could anyone please advise, if they took your Index Finger print for both hand and Pic of yours too during interview?
And is your status changed on website after interview... I had I485 interview on 12/11/17 and there is still no any update on website, though IO said he is approving and expect card @ my lawyers address in 10-15 days.
Everyone I asked replied that their case status was changed after interview. My current status on USCIS website is "Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction"
By the way he did gave a print out after interview and did not mark anything saying it is not applicable, but he again said he is approving and Expect in 10-15 days. Even my Lawyer Congratulated me.

What really bugging me is no change in status. when can I expect welcome letter and Card... I am now more stressed than I was before Interview.
    Please advise, please help

Yes, got fingerprinted during interview 2 weeks ago but think it was only 1 finger and yes had picture taken as well. Have receiced approval letter and greencard in meantime but online status still shows that notice for interview went out. No approval, card in printing no shipping status ever showed. So do not worry about online status.

Thank you. Could you please advise, how long it took to get your Approval Letter and GreenCard? So that I can know how long I still need to suffer with this mental torture.

Right now, I am wondering should I be happy and celebrate or be prepare to cry...

I had my interview 11/8. We were not approved due to me missing my extended birth certificate. I got right onto getting it from my home country. Then about a week later my USCIS status on I-485 changed to "new card being produced". I was confused. Then next came the letter of approval for form I-130. I received my GC 11/24 and it was approved 11/15 or 11/16. I would suggest getting the informed delivery from USPS, they send you scans of the mail that is coming your way and often let you know what packages/envelopes are coming your way. Mine came from Lees Summit, MO which is, if I am not mistaken, the NBC.
        Forms sent 6/2
        Forms received 6/4
        Received texts/e-mails 6/6
        PD 6/5 & 6/6
NOA between 6/8 and 6/12 (I was out of town)
Biometrics letter in mail 6/17 w/ 6/28 date
        SR 9/2
        Contacted Congressman 10/1
        Called the Congressman's office 10/10
        Interview letter 10/10
        Approval Letters for I-765 and I-131 10/16
        Received EAD/AP card 10/17
        Interview 11/8 RFE after
        New Card Being Produced 11/16
        Conditional GC received 11/24

I was approved after my interview. Case status was never updated on USCIS website. Interview on 12/1, GC and approval notice in mailbox on 12/11.

Given that this is around the Christmas period, mail volume is higher so mail might be a bit slower.

I would still get that USPS app to track your mail. Christmas season also means things getting lost and I have been hearing people losing their GC via USPS. It won't hurt to take a precaution.
