  • What should I do

I came in the Us last year with a B1/B2 visa to attend to a conference, sent by my Organization. Against all odds, I Found love and go married this year. Filled for my AOS myself (huge mistake).
Now my case says I’m ready to be scheduled for interview soon. Problem is that, going through my application I realized that I forgot to mention my last occupanction in that Organization in some of the paperworks. Now I’m afraid it’s gonna be a big problem at the interview.
Should I hire an attorney now to help me with it, or just leave it like that. Since the interview is more focused on my marriage.
I’m desperate I don’t know what to do.

Interview focuses on background as well. You can go about this two ways:
    1) Withdraw your petition, correct it and refile it.
    2) You can also wait until your interview and ask to amend your paperwork to add the missing information.

Under no circumstances should you withhold information from the USCIS when they have specifically asked for it.

I know it was a mistake. But from what I’ve heard, withdrawing a case is a risky process.
