  • Parents' middle name in birth certificate

    Hello,

I am Italian and on F1-OPT, and I am going to apply for AOS through marriage. My father's full name is as follows (he is not applying for US immigration):

    First Middle1 Middle2 Middle3 Last

Yet, on my birth certificate Middle2 Middle3 are missing. Would this be a problem?

    Thanks!

I do not think so because middle names are given to you. For example my parents picked my first middle name at birth, then for confirmation I picked another middle name. So no I do not think that will be a problem. Some parents do give middle names, some do not. SO it is not like oh your father's Middle name 2 is John but your birth certificate is missing that, red flag! Nope. It is a personal choice. My husband does not have any middle names, just first and last name.
