I called the USCIS. The level 2 just say something about checking your mail box often that any notification will mail to you. You don't have to worry about your online status.

And the average waiting time is 9.5 months for family based....
I am having the same issue. I emailed them but they didnt reply me yet. So I contacted the ombudsman office to try to solve it for me. Lets see...

any signs of your letter yet? Since you already have the date, is it possible that it got lost in the mail?

Hey, I honestly don't know. I even thought maybe the level 2 officer was just making up stuff but when I called again last week another level 2 officer said the same thing, so I have been checking the mailbox daily. I should have gotten it already. They said it was mailed 23rd April. Do u think I should call them back? Who should I contact?

Ugh! Just checked my mail box and retrieved the letter from all the way at the back of the darn mailbox 🙄. SMH. I should have checked thoroughly but anyways at least I have been preparing for the interview ever since I was informed by the level 2 officers.

While it is possible for FOUR Level 1 reps to not know how to read the screen, I highly doubt there are any Level 2 officers who would be confused by information that is not "hidden" to them. I had 2 of 4 reps tell me that my interview had already been scheduled. I was finally able to confirm I am in for the long haul with the Minneapolis Field Office.

Notices do get lost in the mail. There are two things that you can do:

                      1. Call USPS and initiate recovery of that mail piece. Sure, it was not scanned. Well, the more reason to look for it. The thief could easily be the person scanning mail into the USPS informed delivery system. How hard is it to pocket something and not scan it? If the first person says no, remember, that does not mean it cannot be done. They're really saying they do not have the authority to grant what you're asking. So ask for a supervisor and get the ball rolling on that. You know where the notice came from. It's from the NBC in MO.

                      2. I would call USCIS on Monday right at 8am and ask to speak to a Level 2. If you end up with a call-back, I would state to the Level 1 that you are kindly asking for the interview notice to be faxed to you. Just so that they're prepared. They can fax it to you. You could also send an e-request here.

                      3. You should get it resolved with #2. Alternatively, you can try getting an InfoPass appointment. I would exhaust #2 because as disorganized as the National Benefits Center may seem, it's actually one of the better functioning engines of USCIS.

                      4. Congress person. USCIS would not blink twice before sending you a Denial notice if you miss your appointment. So this is serious business. If you ask for a fax and you are offered for the letter to be mailed again. - clearly, that venue did not work. Let them but take note of it and run straight to the Congress person. If you think you are bothering your Senator, you are not. Your spouse is a voter and you are a future voter. They have to get re-elected. You won't be dealing with the Senator him/-herself but with their staff. They can get EAD/APs adjudicated in 24 hours.

All the best. Keep us posted!

Perfect! That's a relief. It's strange it was not scanned by USPS informed delivery, though. Well, what matters is that you have it now.
By the way, I just realized that my I-485 status on the IVR line is "Status for this receipt number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct". In the mean time, on the case tracker app, my status shows - "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview." Same on egov. But on the dhs.gov account, it shows "A
April 13th, we reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case"

I also punched in other receipts around me that also show "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview." got the same recording "Status for this receipt number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct". It's all very interesting.
Were you also getting that status on the IVR line or you just couldn't access your account on egov or dhs.gov?

I'm not sure what IVR line is but the invalid error message was on egov and telephone automated voice system. Even though my interview is scheduled the dhs website still says fingerprint fees received.

Yes, sorry! I had to look up myself what IVR stands for since. Interactive Voice Response.
